ASUS has stated that information about its intention to stop producing Zenfone smartphones is not true – the Taiwanese manufacturer remains committed to this direction and continues to work on new models.
“We would like to refute the rumor that ASUS Zenfone 10 will be the last generation of the series and the ASUS Zenfone line will be closed. It is not true. We will continue to develop the main phone lines: ROG Phone and Zenfone. ASUS is deeply committed to its smartphone business and its customers. <..> Please stay tuned for updates on our product lines for 2024.”says the officer opinion companies.
Earlier, an insider reported that ASUS is planning to close its line of Zenfone smartphones – the company does not plan to completely exit the mobile device market, but the corresponding resources will reportedly be combined with the development of ROG Phone gaming smartphones. However, ASUS now insists that both lines will remain in place, adding that there are already concrete plans for 2024.
In a few weeks, the Taiwanese manufacturer will launch the new Zenfone 10 in the United States and indeed it would be strange to confirm the information about the intention to close this line. However, I still remember the example of LG, which initially denied the “rumors” about the intention to limit production of smartphones and soon announced that it still opposes this direction.
