Recall that the last time the success of Assassin’s Creed was reported by its publisher in November 2020 for the launch of the newest part – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. By this time the total number of copies of the series had reached 155 million.

As it became known, total sales of Assassin’s Creed exceeded 200 million copies worldwide in September 2022. The franchise remains the most sought-after in Ubisoft’s portfolio.

Since its debut in 2007, the Assassin’s Creed series has spanned 12 main installments (including Assassin’s Creed Rogue), over a dozen spin-offs, and several re-releases.

The next release of Assassin’s Creed will be Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which will be released in 2023. More distant plans for Ubisoft include the launch of the Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform, the return of multiplayer, and new mobile adaptations.
