Images of ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming and Radeon RX 7900 XT Taichi graphics cards were available to the VideoCardz portal. The manufacturer will release at least four variants (with and without factory overclocking) of these accelerators on December 13, when official sales of next-gen Radeon cards based on the RDNA-3 architecture will begin.
New from ASRock is a massive cooling system with three fans. The thickness of each graphics card is at least three expansion slots. Both models are built on non-reference boards. They are wider than AMD’s reference boards.
The Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming graphics card has a new design compared to the previous flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming. When designing the housing of the cooling system, the manufacturer dispensed with black and silver and opted for black with colored inserts.
ASRock Taichi graphics cards belong to a higher class. With the Radeon RX 7900 XT Taichi, this is noticeable at least in a wider panel of external video connections. It is also known that the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT will receive three 8-pin connectors for additional power supply in this version.
Curiously, none of the above ASRock graphics cards have a USB Type-C connector, which is present in the reference versions of these accelerators. By the way, ASRock also plans to release reference versions of graphics cards, but with their own markings.
