Each of the boards is equipped with a quad-core Intel N100 processor, which exclusively contains energy-efficient E-Cores with up to 3.4 GHz. The chips also received an integrated Intel UHD graphics core with support for displaying images in 4K resolution at 60 Hz. The processors are cooled by passive aluminum radiators.
Both boards received a slot for DDR4 RAM. ASRock N100M model features a PCIe 3.0 x16 (works in x2 mode), PCIe 3.0 x1 and M.2 Key E for Wi-Fi wireless module. The equipment also includes a Realtek ALC897 audio codec, two SATA III connectors, an M.2 PCIe 3.0 x2, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, four USB 3.2 Gen1 and a Gigabit Ethernet.
The more compact N100DC-ITX model each received a PCIe 3.0 x4 (working in x2 mode) and M.2 Key E for the wireless WLAN module. The equipment of the novelty also includes two SATA III connections, one M.2 PCIe 3.0 x2, four USB 3.2 Gen1, Realtek ALC897 audio codec and gigabit LAN. The specified model of the board also differs in the use of an external power connector for a 19V power supply.
