In order to work, the new product needs an empty PCIe 5.0 x16 slot on the motherboard. The expansion card allows you to install M.2 (Key M) 2242/2260/2280/2580/22110/25110 PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe drives.
The Blazing Quad M.2 Card is equipped with an active cooling system with two PWM fans. For drives, the manufacturer also provided for the presence of thermal pads on the body of the cooling system.
The expansion card received a 6-pin PCIe connector for additional power supply, as well as a 4-pin cable that connects to the motherboard and is responsible for the operation of the fans.
The Blazing Quad M.2 Card expansion card is equipped with LED indicators to monitor the performance of installed SSDs.
The Blazing Quad M.2 card comes with the W790 WS motherboard for the Intel Xeon W-3400 and W-2400 processors. However, the manufacturer will also offer the novelty as a separate product. Unfortunately, the cost of the expansion card is currently unknown.
