ASRock announces X670E Taichi Carrara Marble Board and other AMD X670E boards for Ryzen 7000 chips

ASRock has presented the first motherboards based on the AMD X670E chipset for the upcoming Ryzen 7000 processors: the company announced the X670E Taichi Carrara, X670E Taichi, X670E Steel Legend and X670E PRO RS models. All four new products offer support for DDR5 RAM and PCIe 5.0 interfaces.

The X670E Taichi Carrara is a special edition board designed to celebrate ASRock’s 20th anniversary. In its design, the novelty uses the appearance of Carrara marble.

Specifications of the ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara:

  • AMD X670E chipset;

  • DDR5 memory support;
  • one PCIe 5.0 x16, one PCIe 5.0 x8;
  • HDMI video output;
  • Realtek ALC4082 7.1 HD audio codec, ESS SABER 9218 DAC amplifier;

The ASRock X670E Taichi follows the specifications of the above model. The novelty differs in design theme. She uses predominantly black color scheme with some colored elements. This is ASRock’s flagship model.

The ASRock X670E Steel Legend model is designed to build a powerful gaming system. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not share the appearance of the novelty, so we list only the main characteristics:

The ASRock X670E Pro RS model is designed for the mass consumer. The novelty has a simplified power scheme, but it is still suitable for building a gaming system based on Ryzen 7000 processors.

  • Dragon 2.5Gbps LAN network controller.

The company did not provide any information about the time of availability and the costs of the mainboards presented.
