The head of the French division of Arkane Studios Romuald Capron (Romuald Capron) on the professional social network LinkedIn announced his decision to leave the studio.
Last week was his last day at Arkane Lyon, according to Capron. The decision was not easy for the developer, but the desire to try new things and spend more time with the family turned out to be stronger.
Capron said that after leaving the studio, he will help video game companies (and not only) implement their ideas and leave Arkane Lyon in “Very good hands” current leaders.
Caprón joined Arkane Studios in Lyon in January 2005 and took over the leadership in April 2019. The last project released with him by the studio was the recent Deathloop.
Deathloop debuted on September 14th on PC (Steam, Bethesda Launcher) and PS5 to rave reviews from critics. Sales of the game are not disclosed at this stage, but Capron calls the launch of the project a success.
