Two independent sources have confirmed that Apple Watch Series 7 pre-orders will begin next week. Deliveries of new items are reported to begin in mid-October.
According to AppleTrack, customers of the premium brand Hermes, which makes high-end accessories, including a range of Apple Watch-related products, received a short email that reads: “Apple Watch Series 7 will be available for pre-order starting October 8, 2021.” … This information was confirmed by well-known insider Jon Prosser, who wrote on Front Page Tech that pre-orders for the device will begin next week, and the Apple Watch Series 7 will retail in mid-October. Recall that during the event at which they were presented, Apple did not reveal the launch date of the watch.
Apple has been introducing new smartwatches alongside the next generation of flagship iPhones for several years in a row. However, ahead of the September event, various sources claimed that production issues could affect the timing of the Apple Watch Series 7 launch, and this is apparently what happened.
The new smartwatch has a slight design change from the previous model, but it has a larger screen, a more powerful chip and more durable case materials. In general, this is a minor update to the device, which does not bring any cardinally new features.
