The updates include important security fixes for iPhone and iPad. In the accompanying document, Apple explains that the latest software fixes a WebKit bug that could allow malicious web content to run arbitrary code on a device. Apple is aware that the vulnerability could be actively exploited by attackers, so it is important that users update their devices to iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 as soon as possible.

According to the release notes, iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 also fix an issue that can cause braille displays designed to display information in a visually impaired manner to become unresponsive.

iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 can be downloaded and installed on all compatible devices using the Software Update option in the General section of the Settings app.
