Apple releases iOS 15.0.2 fixing a number of minor issues

Apple today released iOS 15.0.2, the second update to iOS 15, which became available to the general public in September. The new version of iOS came out a week and a half after the launch of iOS 15.0.1, and fixes a number of bugs that were present in previous versions of the software.

According to the release notes, the update addresses an issue that could result in the loss of images saved from a chat in iMessage if the associated message was deleted. IOS 15.0.2 also fixes an issue that prevented Leather Wallet for iPhone from connecting to Latitude, and a bug that prevented Air Tags from appearing in the device list. With a fresh iOS update, Apple has addressed a bug that can cause CarPlay to be unable to open audio apps, as well as an issue that can crash when restoring or updating the OS on iPhone 13.

Traditionally, the latest iOS update contains a number of security fixes. Together with iOS 15.0.2, iPad OS 15.0.2 was released, which, in general, carries the same changes. The latest versions of operating systems are already available for all compatible devices. You can install new software through the “Software Update” item in the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch settings menu.
