Apple has hired a former employee Meta* platforms Timothy Campos to lead the Information Systems department. Bloomberg writes about it, citing anonymous sources. He replaces the previous division head, who is leaving the company this year.
Campos will manage a range of products including Apple’s official website, customer support and other online services. The new manager will report to Luca Maestri, the company’s chief financial officer.
Previously, Campos served as Chief Information Officer for Meta* platformsfrom 2010 to 2016 He also co-founded the Woven Case Planning Service, which Bought Corporate Messenger Slack. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
This is one of the few major senior management changes at the Cupertino-based company. Recall that earlier Apple left a number of executives: privacy director Jane Howarth (Jane Horvath), vice president of industrial design Evans Hankey (Evans Hankey) and head of online retail business Anna Matthiasson (Anna Matthiasson). The group was also forced to collapse with VP buying Tony Blevins via his TikTok tweet.
