Apex Legends PS5, Xbox Series X and S versions launch today with the start of the Warriors event

Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment shared details Collective event “Warriors”, which will take place in the shareware multiplayer shooter Apex Legends.

As has been revealed, one of the main features of Warriors will be the Apex Legends update that will be included in the current generation consoles. Versions for PS5, Xbox Series X and S have been in development since at least April 2020.

On the new consoles, Apex Legends features 4K, 60 fps, HDR, higher resolution shadow maps, and greater distance to render objects. The last two points only apply to PS5 and Xbox Series X.

In future updates for PS5, Xbox Series X and S, the developers promise support for 120 fps. adaptive triggers (PS5) and haptic feedback (PS5) and other improvements to graphics and sound.

In terms of content for Warriors, the event includes the return of the Control LTM (March 29th to April 12th), a new arena (The Landing) and a set of 24 themed cosmetic items.

The Warriors event and update for current-gen consoles starts today, March 29th. The full list of changes introduced by the upcoming patch is available on the Electronic Arts official website.

Apex Legends is available on PC (Steam, Origin), PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. In February, Season 12, Defiance, launched. He brought another Legend and the Damaged Olympus card.
