Apex Legends online on Steam peaked after the start of the new season surpassed 500,000 players, an all-time record

Two days ago, on August 9th, another season called “Pursuit” started in the shareware multiplayer shooter Apex Legends. This event helped the game set a new attendance record on Steam.

At the time of writing this article, the current online Apex Legends gem SteamDB was more than 477 thousand players. The all-time peak is 511,676 players, which was reached shortly after the release of the new season with the Battle Pass.

Pursuit was released on PC (Steam, Origin), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. The season added a new legend (Vantage), updates to the Kings Canyon map, and a level cap increase.

The new season’s Battle Pass features daily and weekly challenges to earn rewards including Legendary skins for Wraith, Caustic, and Wingman, Epic packs for Vantage, Bangalore, Horizon, and more.
