Antec has introduced its flagship Performance 1 FT computer case. The novelty uses the full-tower form factor, is equipped with glass side panels, a front panel with thoughtful ventilation, four pre-installed PWM fans and a digital display showing the temperature of the processor and graphics card.
The dimensions of the Antec Performance 1 FT are 522 x 230 x 522 mm. It supports up to 10 fans. Three 140mm or 120mm can be placed on top, three more 140mm or 120mm can be fitted on the front and one 120mm on the back. Three additional 120mm “turntables” can be installed on top of the power supply cover. Three front and one rear 140mm fans are pre-installed. Its thickness is 30 mm instead of the usual 25 mm. According to Antec, this improves overall productivity. The package also includes a splitter for three fans, which synchronizes their operation.
The grille of the front panel of the case is held in place by magnets. Behind it, the manufacturer has provided a dust filter. There are also filters with magnetic holders on the top and bottom. The side panels are made of tempered glass with a thickness of 4 mm. The top cover and side panels can be easily removed without tools.
The novelty supports the installation of the mainboard formats E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. It is possible to install SZhO radiators with sizes of 420 mm in front, 360 mm on top and 120 mm on the back. Inside there are three bays for 3.5-inch HDDs, which can also be used to install 2.5-inch SSDs. In addition, there are three separate slots for 2.5-inch drives.
The case has eight expansion slots. It allows you to install graphics cards up to 400mm long, CPU coolers up to 175mm high and ATX power supplies up to 245mm long. There is also support for installing the graphics card vertically.
The interfaces on the front of the case are represented by power and reset buttons, 3.5mm audio-out jacks, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C port, and an LCD control button.
The company has priced the Performance 1 FT case at $160.
