Huawei has unveiled the mid-range Nova Y91 smartphone, which features a large screen with a large selfie camera cutout resembling Apple’s famous notch.
The Huawei nova Y91 is equipped with a large 6.95-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels (Full HD+), a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 270 Hz. In the notch at the top of the screen is an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone is based on an eight-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 with a graphics accelerator Adreno 610. RAM is 8 GB, the capacity of a flash drive is 128 or 256 GB.
On the back of the smartphone is a 50-megapixel camera with an F1.8 aperture, complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor (F2.4).
The 7000mAh battery supports 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging. Device specs also include Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapter, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a USB-C port. Note the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack. The side fingerprint scanner is used to unlock the device.
The smartphone will be available in black (Starry Black) and silver (Moonlight Silver) colors. EMUI 13 is used to control the device.
