Shot using frame-by-frame animation technology, the released video features a humanoid rabbit (2023 is the year of the rabbit according to the Chinese horoscope) who has acquired the coveted disc with Black Myth: Wukong.

Despite upgrading the PC, the rabbit couldn’t play because the release date hadn’t come yet. As mentioned in the video, Black Myth: Wukong will be on sale throughout the summer of 2024.

In addition to the frame-by-frame animation, the video includes approximately 7 seconds of Black Myth: Wukong direct gameplay. The authors showed the fight against the tiger boss from the last New Year’s video.

Black Myth: WuKong is made for PC and “all major consoles” powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game is based on the Chinese novel Journey to the West. At launch, they promise ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS Intelligent Scaling.
