An open “beta” of Battlefield Mobile has started on Android – the game doesn’t look and work very well, but it used to be even worse

portal Chronicle of Video Games drew attention to the launch of open beta tests of shareware mobile shooter Battlefield Mobile in several Asian countries. A video demonstrating the new version of the game has already appeared on the Internet.

The open “beta” is available for Android in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. To play you need a device with at least Android 8.0, Snapdragon 835 / Exynos 9 (8895), 3 GB RAM and 2 GB free storage space.

As part of the open beta, players can try out Conquest, Assault, and Team Deathmatch, as well as versions of existing maps like Nowshahr Canals and Oriental Bazaar.

In the Battlefield Mobile gameplay videos published on YouTube (it is not forbidden to record and stream the game), bloggers demonstrate a training mission, gameplay on foot, destructibility and the use of vehicles on different maps.

As Battlefield Mobile nears a global release, promises are made to add additional content to the beta and launch it in new regions. Progress is periodically reset during the test.

Battlefield Mobile is being developed by Industrial Toys, led by industry veteran Alex Seropian. Electronic Arts in May informedthat the mobile shooter could appear in late 2022 or early 2023.
