AMD says Radeon RX 7000 series is “off” – no other new products planned for RDNA 3

Following the announcement of the new Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards at Gamescom, AMD’s senior vice president and general manager of graphics, Scott Herkleman, told reporters that the unveiled pair of models are the latest in the lineup.

When asked if AMD is planning new products in the RDNA 3 series, Herkleman replied: “The RDNA 3 portfolio is now complete. Of all the products we wanted to present, these are the last ones we wanted to present. We may have several different versions, but they will not be new models. <..> That was it [целое] Trip. It’s been about a year since we released the very first one [графический процессор на микроархитектуре] RDNA 3, and now, a year later, we’re completing the series. We had to finish, finish, and we’re happy. Now I think we have a wide range for people who want RDNA 3 expensive or cheap.”.

The latest models in the lineup were the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT models, priced at $499 and $449 respectively – the manufacturer decided to bridge the gap between them and the budget AMD Radeon RX 7600 for $ 269 – the top – not to close The manager also confirmed this decision. According to him, the company can market several special versions of graphics cards like the AMD Radeon RX 7900.

However, AMD’s intentions for the mobile Radeon RX 7000M series remain unclear – there are only four entry-level models based on the Navi 33 GPU. Create an alternative to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40. Either this will not happen, or Herkleman for some reason was silent about the mobile Radeon.
