Amazon aims to film Mass Effect as a TV series

Head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke in an interview with the portal Deadline announced the company’s plans to adapt the Mass Effect RPG series from Electronic Arts and BioWare.

Recall that the full-length film adaptation of Mass Effect started talking back in 2007 after the release of the first part. As a result of the change in leadership, Legendary Pictures wanted to move in the direction of the series, but it never went beyond talk.

As it became known, Amazon Studios “Close to completion of the transaction”, within which he is going to release a series based on Mass Effect. There are no details about the show at this stage.
