Also an achievement of sorts: Redfall made it into the top 15 worst games in just four days of release, according to Steam users

Arkane Austin’s (Dishonored, Prey) co-op open-world shooter Redfall has already become the most underrated game from the famous studio and now it has set another breaking record.

As noted by the portal The playerin just four days since Redfall’s release, managed to drop to 14th place List of the 100 worst games according to Steam users (the so-called Hall of Shame) that makes up the Steam 250 portal.

When rating games, Steam 250 uses its own algorithm that takes into account both the average score and the number of reviews. Therefore, in the list of last year’s best hits Vampire Survivors below Terraria and Stardew Valley.

With a score of 2.82 points, Redfall positions itself between the extremely ill-fated adventure of the CFSP astronaut (2.71 points) and the failed action film Umbrella Corps (2.96 points). The anti-rating leader War of the Three Kingdoms has only 1.44 points.

Remember that Redfall was criticized for multiple bugs, graphical glitches, boring open world, monotonous mission structure, problematic AI, lack of quick player selection and performance mode (on Xbox).

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has already taken the blame for Redfall’s failure and has assured that Xbox, Bethesda and Arkane Austin will continue to improve the game. We are currently working on the promised 60fps mode on Xbox consoles.

Redfall was released on May 2nd on PC (Steam, EGS, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass (PC and Xbox). In addition to the 60 fps mode on Xbox, the project will receive support for ray tracing with the post-release patch.
