All MSI motherboards based on AMD 300 series chipsets will gain support for Ryzen 5000 processors

MSI has announced that all of its AMD 300-series motherboards (A320, B350, and X370) have received support for Ryzen 5000 Zen 3 processors, including the latest Ryzen 7 5800X3D with advanced 3D V-cache cache technology.

The company notes that the support is provided by the new BIOS firmware based on the AMD AGESA COMBO PI V2 1.2.0.7 library set for motherboards. Release of updated BIOS versions will start from the middle of this month.

The manufacturer also announced that it will begin releasing beta BIOS versions based on the specified AGESA libraries for AMD 400 and 500 series motherboards in early June. The update fixes issues with Windows 10 and 11 freezing on Ryzen systems with fTPM enabled.
