Akasa has announced the Turing ABX chassis, designed for building small form factor desktops and home media centers.
The novelty includes a fanless design. The corrugated aluminum surface serves as a heat sink for heat dissipation. The Turing ABX based computer will have zero noise levels during operation.
It is allowed to install 4″ × 4″ motherboards. In particular, we are talking about compatibility with devices from the Gigabyte Ryzen BRIX series: GB-BRR3-4300, GB-BRR5-4500, GB-BRR7-4700 and GB-BRR7-4800.
Inside the case there is room for a 2.5-inch drive – hard drive or solid-state module. The overall dimensions of the solution are 118.5 × 95 × 248.2 mm.
The front has cutouts for three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one RJ45 jack for a network cable, one USB 3.2 Gen Type-C port, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort interfaces can be output on the back panel . There are also sockets for connecting a WLAN antenna.
