Akasa has announced the Maxwell Pro Plus case, designed for building fanless desktop computers on a Mini-ITX motherboard.
The novelty is made of black anodized aluminum. The ribbed sides act as a heat sink to dissipate heat. Perforations are provided in the upper area, which ensure ventilation of the interior. The design includes a processor thermal block with four heat pipes. During operation, the system produces absolutely no noise.
According to the developer, the case is ideal for housing Intel processors from the Alder Lake generation (LGA 1700) with a TDP of up to 65 watts. However, other chips can also be used, in particular Intel 1151/1200 and AMD AM4.
The solution measures 280 x 209 x 110 mm and weighs approximately 3.0 kg. There is enough space inside to accommodate two 2.5-inch drives.
There are two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A and USB 2.0 Type-A ports on the front. The back has slots for two serial ports and a wireless Wi-Fi antenna.
The estimated price of Akasa Maxwell Pro Plus is 195 €.
