The Chinese company Xiaomi has presented a budget smartphone Redmi 10A Sport based on the MediaTek hardware platform. The device will be available in Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Gray colors with an estimated price of $140.
The Helio G25 processor is used, which combines eight Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz, an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics accelerator and an LTE modem. The chip works together with 6 GB of RAM.
The display has a diagonal of 6.53″, has a resolution of HD+ (1600 × 720 pixels), a peak brightness of 400 cd/m²2 and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. Claimed 70% coverage of the NTSC color space.
A 5-megapixel camera is installed in the front part; AI Face Unlock is supported. On the rear is a single camera based around a 13-megapixel sensor.
The smartphone’s arsenal includes a 128 GB stick, WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters and a 5000 mAh battery. Dimensions are 164.9 × 77.07 × 9.0 mm, weight – 194 g.
