Aerocool presented the Cipher case for building HDD-based mining stations

Aerocool has announced a case called Cipher that allows the installation of ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. The novelty has a laconic design with a mesh front panel that provides good air circulation.

The solution is designed to build mining stations for the extraction of cryptocurrencies, the reception of which is based on the process of storing information – for example, Chia. For this purpose, advanced options related to the installation of drives have been implemented.

In particular, up to 15 storage media can be used simultaneously according to the scheme 11 × 3.5 inches and 4 × 2.5 inches or 12 × 3.5 inches and 3 × 2.5 inches. The expansion slots have a 7 + 2 configuration that allows the graphics accelerator to be mounted vertically. The latter can be up to 400 mm long (without the HDD cage).

Air and liquid cooling can be used. In the first case, you can install up to seven fans with a diameter of 120 mm, in the second – three radiators (front and top 360 mm, and rear 120 mm).

The interface box contains two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, headphone and microphone jacks. Case dimensions – 205 × 485 × 485 mm.
