Addlink has announced the AddGame A92 and AddGame A90 series solid state drives, which can be used not only in desktops, but also in Sony PlayStation 5 game consoles.
The devices are made in the M.2 2280 format. The PCIe 4.0 x4 interface is used for data exchange, which provides high bandwidth. An aluminum heatsink with an aggressive Shark-Fin design is provided.
AddGame A92 products are based on QLC NAND flash memory microchips: the technology provides for the storage of four bits of information in one cell. The series includes modifications with a capacity of 1, 2 and 4 TB. When used with the PlayStation 5, the speed of reading information reaches 5600 MB / s, when installed in personal computers – 4900 MB / s. The data recording speed is up to 3600 MB / s.
AddGame A90 solid state drives are built on TLC NAND flash memory microchips with three bits of information recording in one cell. 1TB and 2TB models released. Sequential read speed – up to 5600 MB / s when installed on the PlayStation 5 and up to 5000 MB / s when used on a PC. Sequential writes are performed at speeds up to 4400 MB / s.
All new items come with a five-year warranty. Unfortunately, there is no information about the estimated price at the moment.
