ADATA Technology announced the release of the Premier Extreme SDXC SD7.0 Express Card, the world’s first SD Express product to receive SD 7.0 certification from the SD Association.

The new product has passed the SD Express Verification Program (SVP), which confirms that the flash card meets SDA’s stringent interface standards for performance and reliability. The solution can be used in both PCs and cameras for recording materials with Ultra HD / 4K resolution.
Used control SMI SM2708AB. The PCIe 3.0 x1 interface (NVMe specification) is used for data exchange. The declared speed of reading information reaches 800 MB / s, writing speed is 700 MB / s. This is about one and a half times that of SATA 3.0 SSDs. Compared to UHS-II SD card and UHS-I SD card, the performance increase is 2.7x and 8x, respectively. Offers backwards compatibility with the UHS-I standard.
The product has an error correction code to ensure data accuracy. The flash card is shockproof, resistant to X-rays, resistant to static electricity and not afraid of water. It has been tested for optimal performance at both high and low temperatures.
Premier Extreme SDXC Express Cards are offered in 256GB and 512GB capacities. The price is not communicated.
