Keep in mind that Call of Duty: Vanguard launch sales in the UK were rumored to be the worst for the series in 14 years. Additionally, Activision Blizzard’s management was unhappy with the game’s performance.

As mentioned in the report, Call of Duty: Vanguard really didn’t live up to expectations. This happened due to Entourage not finding the right answer and a lack of innovation, according to Activision Blizzard.

Activision Blizzard assures that it has taken these issues into account and will no longer allow them in the current year’s release – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Last week, Infinity Ward developers unveiled the game’s logo and official name.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due out this fall for PC and consoles. Aside from this project, Infinity Ward is also busy with a new iteration of the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone. In total, more than 3,000 people are currently working on the series.
