Game Atelier’s creation runs at 4K at 120 fps on Xbox Series X, while owners of the less powerful Xbox Series S will have to choose between 1080p and 120 fps or 4K at 60 fps.
The main features of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom are hand drawn animation, “breathtaking” Gameplay, content for 15 hours and “gigantic” World. The publisher is positioning this game as a continuation of Sega’s Wonder Boy series.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom was released in December 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, in July 2019 it came on PC (Steam, GOG) and in December last year on PS5. Versions of the game for current-gen consoles were announced back in September 2020.
