The update added “Panchaks” (or “Pan-Nunchakus”) to Dead Cells, a new Soul Knight skin, weapons and gear, a redesigned Legendary item system and the ability to pet pets, and adopted numerous changes as well balance of weapons and items. All details are listed on separate page in the Steam store.

Last month, the developers announced that they will be preparing new content for the game by the end of 2022, promising a shock 2023. For example, the autumn update Dead Cells will add a boss marathon mode (consecutive battles with bosses already encountered) expand with unlockable rewards and possibly a leaderboard.

Dead Cells was released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in August 2018 and later released on iOS and Android. Enter The Panchaku will launch on other platforms at a later date.
