German game developers receive financial support from the state, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in turn, is forced to tell the public which projects it is giving money to and to whom.

In particular, the German Deck13 (the first Lords of the Fallen, The Surge dilogy), which is currently developing the fantasy role-playing action game with the open-world Atlas Fallen, has received an amount of 1.09 million euros from the federal government a new project.

The evolution is called Atlas Fallen: The Wielder of Gods and, judging by the name, it’s a supplement to Atlas Fallen. The German Ministry of Economic Affairs states that production should be completed by February 2024.

Due to the March postponement, Atlas Fallen is expected to release on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S on August 10, 2023. Plans for additional content in Deck13 have not yet been announced.
