Acer is preparing to release its own version of the Arc A770 graphics card, which will be presented as part of the Predator gaming series. The manufacturer announced this on its official Twitter page and accompanied the release with a picture of the novelty.
The technical characteristics of the graphics card are not reported. However, it is known that the card will get an unusual design with a cooling system that includes two fans of different sizes. One of them is of the tangential type, popularly known as a “turbine”, and the second is of a standard shape with interconnected blades. What advantages this design will bring is unknown, since such coolers did not exist before.
It is also known that the graphics card will receive two 8-pin connectors for additional power supply. Judging by the published photo, the card has a thickness of 2.5 expansion slots.
Intel has already officially introduced the Arc A770 model. It is based on the ACM-G10 GPU with 32 Xe cores (4096 FP32 units), 32 ray tracing acceleration units and 512 XMX matrix engines. For the reference version of the graphics card, the declared frequency of the graphics processor is 2100 MHz. As Intel explains, this number does not reflect the maximum but the expected frequency of the GPU.
Arc A770 supports 16GB or 8GB GDDR6 memory configurations with an effective frequency of 17.5GHz (17.5Gb/s) or 16GHz (16Gb/s) depending on capacity. As stated by Intel, the memory bus width is 256 bits for 8 GB models, and the memory bandwidth is 560 GB / s. In the reference version, the graphics card appears with only 16 GB of memory.
