Acer introduced a number of exciting new products at CES, including the Predator Helios gaming laptops and the eKinekt BD 3 generator wheel. At the same time, the developers announced a major update of the SpatialLabs TrueGame application, which allows you to interact with 3D objects and play games without them 3D points.

Last year, Acer released the 15-inch Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition laptop, whose display can use a combination of eye-tracking technology, a 3D lenticular lens attached to a 2D panel, and online image rendering to create a 3D – Create effect on a flat screen. The 3D image created in this way can be viewed without using special 3D glasses.
Acer also released the SpatialLabs TrueGame application, which can scan 3D spatial information in a gaming environment and generate game profiles appropriate to create a stereoscopic effect based on the collected data. Dozens of popular games are supported by technology, thanks to which users of the mentioned application can see the three-dimensional objects of the game without using 3D glasses.
An update from SpatialLabs TrueGame will add an innovative 3D Ultra mode to the application, which aims to transform the gaming experience by integrating realistic 3D geometric objects. At the same time, the application introduces the 3D Sense feature, which allows users to adjust the intensity of 3D effects according to their own preferences. Innovations will make the gaming experience more vivid as the automatic adjustment of the 3D focus will make the presence effect more tangible.
“Game development is an art form that requires developers to bring their imaginations to life in amazingly realistic and immersive 3D worlds. This activity requires a lot of time and creativity. The ability to interact with modern games is severely limited by devices with 2D displays. That will change with SpatialLabs TrueGame as we continue to expand the possibilities of 3D gaming by adding geometrically realistic 3D models and unleashing the power of stereoscopic technology.”says Acer CEO Jerry Kao.
3D Ultra mode will be available in the SpatialLabs TrueGame app with an update that will be available at the end of January. Owners of Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition laptops and SpatialLabs View Smart Displays can evaluate the capabilities of this product.
