About a year and a half ago – shortly after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic – she was approached by composer Michael McGlynn to write a song for the upcoming remake, McMahon said.

The singer also added that the song is in Irish. Forum users ResetErawithout thinking twice, they remembered the cult song The Best is Yet to Come from the original Metal Gear Solid.

Which game from its library Sony Interactive Entertainment is going to update, McMahon did not specify (nondisclosure agreement), but noted that it was about a large project.

“The title of the game will be announced at Christmas (Catholic – approx.). By now I have found out about it and I can confirm: this is a great game, which is great! It will have a composition in Irish, which is also great. “McMahon said.

As the portal notes Gematsu, Christmas celebrations in Ireland traditionally begin on December 8th, and the Game Awards 2021 is scheduled to take place on the 9th of the current year.

According to rumors, Konami really plans to revive Metal Gear Solid, but it is supposedly going to start with a collection of remasters of the first games in the series, while Virtuos studio is engaged in a remake of one of the parts (presumably the third).
