Ubisoft’s online pirate action game Skull and Bones has already undergone seven postponements on its way to release, but the final release date is finally emerging. About it Reports Insider Tom Henderson.
Let us recall that after the sixth postponement, the release of Skull and Bones was expected at the beginning of the current fiscal year, but in October Ubisoft decided to postpone the game to the fourth quarter (that is, for the period from January 1 to 31 March 2024).
According to Henderson’s informants, Skull and Bones will go on sale on February 16, 2024 and, in addition to the standard edition ($60), will also receive a premium edition ($15-20 more expensive). This includes access to the game from February 13th.
Henderson’s sources do not indicate when to expect the announcement, but add: Given the nature of the information received, the announcement could come within the next few weeks (e.g. at the 2023 Game Awards ceremony).
Skull and Bones is being developed for PC (Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. According to Henderson, the game has been actively tested recently – the most recent session was last week.
