The currently untitled The Witcher is powered by the Unreal Engine 5 in its chest. The game is created through a long-term strategic partnership with Epic Games, but CD Projekt RED’s new Witcher is available exclusively on the Epic Games Store habit.

According to CD Projekt RED, the main goal of the collaboration with Epic Games is to adapt the Unreal Engine for open-world games. Probably the new The Witcher will belong to projects of this kind.
