A giant galaxy in miniature: A blogger presented Starfield as an isometric role-playing game

Dutch blogger Flurdeh has found a new game for his collection of miniature worlds. This time, in the form of an isometric adventure, the enthusiast presented the main release of the current week – Starfield.

Starfield is a first-person (or third-person, if you prefer) game, but Flurdeh made it look like a miniature using a mod by Frans Bouma and a simulated tilt-shift lens.

“Use Tilt Shift to turn the vast Starfield galaxy into a miniature world. With its tiny residents scurrying about, minding their own business.”it says in the description of the video.

From a camera angle unusual for Starfield, Flurdeh captured Constellation headquarters, a nightclub, a runway, the interiors of several buildings and three cities – New Atlantis, Neon and Akila City – in two and a half minutes.

Because of the style Flurdeh chose, the spaceship shown in one of the shots looks more like a toy, and distant plans of plazas and other open spaces look like animated dioramas.

It is worth noting that Flurdeh has been creating miniature game worlds for more than a year. Previously, the blogger posted similar videos related to Mass Effect 3, Elden Ring, and other major releases of the past few years.

Starfield will be released September 6 for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass (PC and Xbox). For those experiencing performance issues, Game Director Todd Howard recommends upgrading your PC.
