In the nearly 12 years since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released, Reddit modder Grouchy_Bluejay4511 grew tired of exploring the northern province of Tamriel in Bethesda’s RPG and decided to recreate it in another game.
The modder decided to transfer locations from Skyrim to the no less iconic strategy Age of Empires II. The enthusiast demonstrated the results of his work in screenshots two different subjects in the Reddit forum.
Grouchy_Bluejay4511 exclusively used materials from Age of Empires II, but the iconic locations are also recognizable in this form: for example, Whiterun with the luxurious Jarl’s house and the Dragon’s Reach castle, which towers over the city.
The modification also had a place for Solitude, Windhelm, Markarth, Winterhold, the High Hrothgar Monastery with its surrounding settlements, as well as locations from the Dawnguard add-on such as the Vampire Castle Volkihar.
The world of Skyrim built in Age of Empires II was not created by Grouchy_Bluejay4511 just for show. enthusiast promised Release the change to the public no later than next Saturday (October 28).
In addition to the recreated locations from Skyrim, the mod offers more than 50 quests and hundreds of unique characters, as well as the ability to take control of any city with the aim of conquering the entire province.
The modification will be compatible with Age of Empires II: HD Edition and available on the Steam Workshop. Grouchy_Bluejay4511 is currently working on fixing the latest bugs.
