A quartet of upcoming processors from the AMD Ryzen 7000 series was spotted on the website of the Canadian online shop PC Canada – they were noticed by a Twitter user under the nickname @momomo_us. The flagship Ryzen 9 7950X model costs 1141 Canadian dollars ($892). It should be noted that prices are subject to change – before the announcement, according to some information, about a month more.
The prices for new processors given on the dealer’s website were distributed as follows:
- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (100-100000514/WOF) – CAD$1140.99 ($892);
- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X (100-100000589/WOF) – CAD$777.99 ($608);
- AMD Ryzen 7 7700X (100-100000591/WOF) – CAD$613.99 ($480);
- AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (100-100000593/WOF) – CAD$423.99 ($330).
Prices are for tray versions of processors intended for system integrators. This means that they come without branded packaging and cool box. The prices shown are not final: retailers sometimes mention new products before retailers give them suggested prices, but this happens days before they go on sale. But with high probability it can be argued that at the initial stage the line is represented by four items of goods.
Recently it became known that the presentation of Ryzen 7000 chips and motherboards designed for them with socket AM5 is expected on September 15th.
