Founder and until recently CEO of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross announced about leaving the American studio of Microsoft and its parent company.
Ross founded 343 Industries in 2007 and led the development of the Halo series for 15 years. The specialist hoped to remain with the team through November, but medical issues emerging in the family sped up the process.
“I’m incredibly proud of the work everyone at 343 Industries has done on Halo Infinite, the Master Chief Collection, the Halo series and more. It has been an honor to work with the team over the past 15 years and to be part of a beloved universe.”Ross communicated.
portal Windows headquarters announces that following the departure of Ross, her role at 343 Industries will be split between three employees:
- Pierre Hintze, head of production, will become the studio’s new head, directing Halo Infinite, The Master Chief Collection and future games;
- Bryan Koski has been named general manager of the Halo franchise;
- Elizabeth Van Wyck has assumed the position of Head of Business Operations for 343 Industries.
Halo Infinite is available for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Already on November 8th the game will receive a winter update with a beta version of the Forge Editor, online co-op (removed locally). ) and other functions.
