2K announced the mobile version of Civilization: Eras & Allies and assured players of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII

Publisher 2K announced about the expansion of the global turn-based strategy franchise Sid Meier’s Civilization with a new game – Civilization: Eras & Allies. However, fans of the famous series weren’t waiting for this.

Civilization: Eras & Allies is a free 4X social strategy game for iOS and Android. Furthermore, it’s not even a completely new game – it was recently tested under the name Conquests and Alliances – 4X Empire Builder.

Conquests and Alliances has been undergoing soft launch testing in select countries for several months. 2K is currently in the process of renaming the game and plans to continue testing it.

The developers are threatening to send players on a journey through centuries of history. Players can pave their way to glory and feel like legendary leaders and masters of empires that shaped the world.

They promise “exciting game mechanics”multiple civilizations with a unique play style, more than 120 world leaders, multiplayer, “amazing graphics” and seasonal updates.

In a statement to IGN, 2K representatives assured that Civilization: Eras & Allies is being created by a third-party partner in collaboration with Firaxis and will have no influence on the development of the next major “Civilization,” which was confirmed in February.

Ed Beach will serve as creative director for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. “has been an integral part of the development of civilization for over 15 years”. Sales of the franchise’s games recently exceeded expectations 68 million copies.
